Meet Tivu
Tivu is a small, cheerful cube made of building blocks — the same blocks children use to count, group and build in Tivumo.
Grows up with your child
Full size beside younger learners in Classes 3–5, small at the edge of the screen in Classes 6–8, and out of the way from Class 9.
Never in the way
Tivu never moves around the screen and never says anything the words beside it don’t already say. The maths always comes first.
Why Tivumo has a mascot at all
Younger children learn better with a friendly face nearby, especially when something is hard. Tivu is there to make a new topic feel safe to try, not to hand out points or push anyone along. Every picture of Tivu sits beside words that already say the same thing, so nothing is ever said by the picture alone.
Older students do not need company, so Tivu steps back: smaller in Classes 6 to 8, and gone from Class 9. The maths takes the whole screen.
